Gracias compañeros por darme vuestra opinión.

Ya sé que debería probar con actualizar la bios, incluso tal vez esté ahí la solución, pero ahora no tengo dinero para comprar un ordenador nuevo, en caso de que fallara la actualización de la bios. Si fuera un "sobremesa", no tendría miedo, ya que si falla, quito la bios del zócalo, y podría volver a grabarla con un grabador diréctamente, pero al ser un "portátil", seguro que la bios es un componente smd soldado a la placa y habría que desoldarlo para poderlo grabar, con el pelligro que ésto conlleva.

En cuanto a lo de probar un disco duro sin actualizar la bios pueden pasar dos cosas, que no detecte el disco, o que si lo detecta no reconozca más de 60 GB, y a ésto último si me informó SAT ACER, de lo que no me quisieron informar es si me admitiría más HD y la detección del USB en el arranque si actualizara la bios.

Tendré que esperar a ver si alguien con éste ordenador a actualizado la bios y me comunique cuales son las mejoras que se han añadido a la última actualización. Yo tengo la 1.2 y la última es la 2.0.

De momento os pongo lo que hay en el txt que acompaña a la ROM de la bios por si alguien que entienda me puede decir si me vale la actualización para lo que quiero (Más disco de 160 GB y boot USB)
