DragonCrypt How To

Install:
-------
1/-Select ZIP file
2/-Right Clic in file & Select "Extract to DragonCrypt..."
3/-Create ShortCut in Desktop
4/-Double clic on ShortCut to start application


Default Directories
-------------------
- DCFile**** -> *.BIN, *.DRA (function "Save As")
DRA_****.TXT, IDENTS_LIST.TXT, DRA_**** to SOFTCAM.KEY, SOFTCAM.KEY to DRA_****,
****_UPDATED.TXT.
Directory automatiquely created if not exist.
Clic on "Open DCFile****" in DragonCrypt to open direcrory.
- DCRepairFile -> PIC/FunFlash
Directory automatiquely created if not exist.
- DCDatas -> Idents Table
- DCTables -> Firmwares Table



LOAD FILE

1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Open Predator Table:
Table selected saved in \DCSettings\DefaultTable.ini, if you use same file next time not need to load table
3-Open Predator Firmware or Drop Predator Firmware file in main form
4-Clic on "Expand" button to view all ident in "System Crypt/Idents"


SAVE AS
-------
1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Open Predator Table
3-Open Predator Firmware
4-Make your changes
5-Clic on "Save As"
Enter a name (extension file added by application not need to enter)
BIN File automatiquely created.
Destination directory open automatiquely after file writing.


EDIT,MODIFY IDENT ****

1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Open Predator Table
3-Open Predator Firmware
4-Clic on "Expand" button to view all ident in "System Crypt/Idents"
5-Select an Ident to see ****
6-Make changes (Edit,Modify,Clear...)


CLEAR IDENT ****

1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Open Predator Table
3-Open Predator Firmware
4-Clic on "Expand" button to view all ident in "System Crypt/Idents"
5-Select an Ident to see ****
6-Clic on "Clear Current ****"
All **** will be to zero.


EXPORT FIRMWARE ****

5-All **** will be saved in directory DCFile****,
this directory will be open automatiquely after file creation.

5-Select type of import file
- Softcam file
- DRA_**** (or MR_**** or FUN_**** compatible file format: file produce by MRCRypt & FunkeyEdit)

6-Load file
7-ExpandSelect ****:
Clic on "Expand All" to view all idents or double clic on System Crypt to open ident
Clic on "Select All" to select all **** in one pass or make individual selection (doucle clic on Ident)
Compare ****: select same idem in Import **** windows and DRA **** Windows
**** appears in **** list
8-Clic on "Update ****" to update new **** in predator firmware.
9-New Form appear with all **** updated (Ident, key number, key value in HEX/DEC Format, number of **** updated)


EDIT DRA_**** FILE

4-Clic on "Edit/Convert DRA **** File"
5-Load DRA_****.TXT
6-Edit,Modify or Convert to SOFTCAM **** file
7-Clic on "Save"

EDIT SOFTCAM.KEY FILE

1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Clic on "Edit/Convert DRA **** File"
3-Load SoftCam.Key
4-Edit,Modify or Convert to DRA_**** file
5-Clic on "Save"
Destination directory will be open automatiquely after file creation.


EDIT IDENT TABLE

1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Open Predator Table
3-Open Predator Firmware
4-Clic on "Edit Ident File"
5-Load INI file
6-ADD/DELETE/MODIFY ident
7-Clic on "Save"
Treeview "System Crypt/Idents" will be updated with new ident and all file will be produce too.


REPLACE IDENT
-------------
1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Open Predator Table
3-Open Predator Firmware
4-Select System Crypt in treeview (Nagravision,Seca,Viaccess,Irdeto,Conax)
5-Select Ident
6-Clic on Ident Combo Box and select new ident
Treeview & windows **** will be updated with new ident & new name


MOVE,CLEAR IDENT(S)
-------------------
1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Open Predator Table
3-Open Predator Firmware
4-Clic on "Providers"
5-Select System Crypt (Nagravision,Seca,Viaccess)
6-UP Button: swap current ident with previous
DOWN Button: swap current ident with next
CLEAR Button: current ident clear to EMPTY and **** to 0
CLEAR ALL **** button: all idents **** in selected list to 0
CLEAR ALL Button: all idents in windows clear to EMPTY and **** to 0
Use space bar for quick move:
- Press space bar Select/Deselect ident
- Select new ident (left clic)
- Press space bar (ident swapped)
7-clic on "Update" to validate changes


KEY CONVERTER
-------------
1-Clic on "Convert Key"
2-Tick "HEX to DEC" or "DEC to HEX"
3-Input Key -> result key give in real time


FIRMWARE CHECKER
----------------
1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Clic on "Check Predator File" button
3-Select Firmware (button "Browse")
4-Clic on Button "Calc"
If file is valid Green Smiley & Checksum appear in box "Checksum calculed".
if file is a fake Red Smiley & Checksum appear in box "Checksum calculed".
Checksum on file & Checksum calced showed


PRODUCE FILE REPAIR

2-Clic on button "Produce PIC/FUN Flash Repair"
3-File cretaed in directory DCRepairFile.
Directory open automatiquely after creation files.

How to repair card
1-Load your software programmer
2-Select PrussianCard5 For Fun7 (2 * 1024 for eeprom)
Select GoldCard (PIC16f84) or SingleCard(Pic16c84)
3-Load FlashRepair
Fun7FlashLoader.hex in FLASH
PicFlashLoader.hex in PIC
Load NOTHING for EEprom(Pic Based) or External eeprom (Fun Based)
4-Write Card


PRODUCE FUNCARD
---------------
First Step
1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Clic on button "Produce Funcard"
3-Select Firmware
If file is valid message "File Checksum is OK!!!" appear.
if file is a fake message "BAD Checksum. Do not use this file." appear
and button "Write" will be disabled.
4-Select destination file directory
5-Select EEprom format: BIN or HEX
6-Clic on button "Create"

Second Step
Load your programmer software
1-Load Fun7FlashLoader.hex in flash
2-Load PredatorXXX_FUN7_EEPROM1.hex
3-Load PredatorXXX_FUN7_EEPROM2.hex
4-Nothing in internal eeprom.
5-Burn card
Not need to erase card before.
Tested with infinity usb phoenix work great.


SERIAL LOADER
-------------
Need programmer with interface phoenix 6.00MHZ
Need Fun7FlashLoader.hex in flash (cf FileRepair) or PicFlashLoader.hex in PIC.
Options:
-Erase Card Before: check box only if you have problem with card loader
or to clean card before writting
(use this option when after upgrade you get message "Invalide Image")
-Detect Port COM: Check all COM port available in machine.
After detection, select COM in COM PORT box.
-PIC based Card: check box for old Dragon card loader
Serial settings saved in DCSettings directory after loader used.
Default card selected: Fun7
1-Run DragonCrypt
2-Clic on button "Programming Dragon Card Loader"
3-Select Firmware (button "Browse")
If file is valid, message "File Checksum is OK!!!" appear.
if file is a fake, message "BAD Checksum. Do not use this file." appear
and button "Write" will be disabled.
4-Select Comport (1 to 4)
or check autodetect box to detect all PORT available in machine
& select new Port in "COM PORT" list box.
5-Clic on "Write" button
Press "Abort" button to stop programming during writting.
Tested with infinity usb phoenix 6.00 MHZ work great.
