txuwaka Usuario Registrado Fecha de ingreso: 26/nov/2002 Mensajes: 27	radix dt-30 ci Ha caido en mis manos un receptor satelite digital ¿creo?, con dos slot para pcmcia,....o algo similar,.....averiado,....y antes de ponerme a reparar,.....¿alguien sabria de quien es clon? pues no me parece conocida la marca. En alemania supongo que si, pues todo lo que he encontrado, poco, esta en aleman,....y no entiendo ni papa. Gracias coleguis. Un saludo a tod@s.

1. EPSILON Series
1.1 EP 1FTA & EP 2AD
You can use Down.exe to download these S/W. It is a DOS S/W. And you can use flash.bin loader file.
a. Connect RS-232 Serial cable PC and STB. You must use a cross cable, not direct cable.
(Connection: 2-3,3-2,5-5)
b. STB Power On, and wait for initial time.
c. Saves Down.exe, flash bin and api bin files in the same directory.
d. Moves the directory where these files are stored on Dos prompt.

e. Type following command on DOS prompt.
>Down port_number flash_bin_filename api_bin_filename
(ex : Down 1 flash.bin api.bin)
f. Press Enter key and wait some time.
g. Start download with number counting.

h. If counting is done until DownLoad DBS API S/W size, then download is ended.
i. After download is ended, STB is reset automatically
1.2 EP 3CI
In case EP 3CI, you should use a Ep3ci.exe instead of Down.exe. It is a DOS S/W. And you can use flash.bin loader file. Also you can use the windows program, Epdown.exe(This program is explained in next section.).
a. It is the same way above 1.1 from a to d.
b. So you can type like this:
>Ep3ci port_number flash_bin_filename api_bin_filename
(ex : Ep3ci 1 flash.bin api.bin)
c. Press Enter key and wait a moments.
d. Start download with number counting. Refer to [Figure 2].
e. Appear on Dos prompt [Write flash memory please wait ...!!!].

f. After few minutes appear on Dos prompt [Code Download END !!!..!].

g. And download is ended.
h. After download is ended, STB AC power is reset automatically.
1.3 EPSILON ADVANCED SERIES (Ep 1fta@, 2ad new, and Ep 3ci@)
You can use Ep3ci.exe to download advanced series s/w. And you can also use window program
Epdown.exe. It is easy to download. And you can use flashfp.bin loader file.
a. It is the same way from a to b.
b. Execute a Epdown.exe.
c. Next select the directory stored bin files in folder window.

d. And then select bin files in source window.
e. Next move these files to target window one by one. First loader bin file, second application bin file. This order is very important. You must move loader bin file first.
f. Press the [start] button.
g. Displayed blue status bar twice. First for loader, second for application.

h. Finally appear on dialogue box [New program is updated!].

[Figure 7] The end of download.
i. And then after a moments, STB is reset automatically.
2. DT Series
You can use the hload.exe and download.exe programs to download S/W.
2.1 How to use hload.exe

It is a DOS program.

a. First store hload.exe and dnl file in the same directory.
b. Second STB AC power is off.
c. Next type a command like this,
>hload dnl_filename com_port_number
(ex : hload appli.dnl com1)
d. And press Enter key to start download. So you can see it.

e. The hload.exe program wait a ACK until STB power is on. After STB AC power is on, download start.

Finish download, you can see it.

g. Finally STB AC power is off and on. The download is over.
2.2 How to use download.exe
It is a window program and very easy to use.
a. First store dnl file.
b. Second STB AC power is off.
c. Next execute a download.exe. And press Load File button.
d. And then select dnl file to download.

e. Next press DownLoad button and STB AC power is on. Then you can see a progress bar.

[Figure 12] On download S/W through download.exe program.
f. When download is over, this message is displayed on monitor

[Figure 13] The Message of the end of download.
g.Press Enter to finish. And STB power is off and on.
h. The S/W download is over.
