Ayuda con Vbulletin.
 

Tengo un fichero con todas o casi todas las versiones,pero no se como mandar una version a el servidor.Como servidor tengo tripod.licos.
Bueno en realidad no se nada de nada.si alguien puede explicarme los primeros pasos para colgar Vbulletin en el servidor,le estaria muy agradecido.Gracias.

Al final te has animado con el vBulletin, me voy a suscribir al hilo poqrue no saco tiempo para ponerme a ello. Y doy las gracias a oclide por ofrecerse a echarme una mano, pero es que eno saco tiempo para hacer mas.

Instalacion
Bueno en primer lugar, no vamos a instalar el vbulletin de php3 sino de php4, ambos vienen en la instalacion, pero es mas facil php4.
Bueno manos a la obra:
1. Cuando tengamos el packete, lo extracteamos, y tendremos dos archivos, extracten el archivo llamado VBulletin.v2.2.9.PHP, tambien depende la version que tengas, luego abrimos las carpetas, abrimos la carpeta Uploads, y encontraran una carpeta llamada vbulletin, le cambian el nombre si kieren, y lo suben a su hosting
2.Una ves subido los archivos, cargamos el install.php que se encuentra en la carpeta admin con su browser, entonces tendrian que ir a
http://www.sudominio.com/directoriod...in/install.php
Esto es un ejemplo
3.Luego cuando cargamos el install.php, ponemos continue, y luego apareceran este form que tienen que llenar y cambiar los datos que yo ponga

Database password: contraseña
Database name: nombredelabasededatos
Technical email: emailtecnico

4.Luego meten update config.php o sino pueden hacer esta modificacion modificando el config.php ubicado en la carpeta admin
5.Cuando hayan updateado, luego meten continue, y luego les tiene que aparecer esto:

6.Luego les tiene que aparecer esto:

Si no aparece esto, algo mal has hecho
7.Luego de meter Next Step, les saldra esto:
Style imported correctly!
The next step will allow you to set up the options for this board.
8.Luego meten next step denuevo, y tendran que llenar este form:
BB Title: El nombre de tu foro
Home Title: Nombre de tu web
BB URL: LA URL donde esta el foro sin la "/"
Home URL: URL de tu pagina
Webmaster email address: el mail webmaster de la web

9.Continuas y despues next step, despues llenas otro form:
User Name: usuario del admin
Password: contraseña del admin
Email Address: email del admin
y luego metes Submit form and continue to next step
10.Una ves instalado, haz click en "here" donde dice:
The control panel can be found "here"
11. Borran el install.php, y listo
12.Entran a la administracion y hacen lo que deven hacer al foro

¡Recordatorio!
-Recuerda que un archivo .php no puede ser cargado en tu ordenador a si nomas, tiene que ser cargado de tu servidor y que soporte PHP
