He adquirido este procesador, segun tenia entendido la velocidad real del reloj era de 2,17

Pero si voy a prohramas como Everest o Aida me dicen esto:

para que funcione a 2167 tienes que poner el fsb a 333 (166'66x13)

si tu placa base no lo admite tendras que actualizar la bios

por cierto, para poner el fsb a 333 tienes que tocar el jumper CPU_FSB que ahora lo debes de tener en la posicion a 200 (pagina sobre jumpers del manual) si decides actualizar la bios bajatela de aqui

y puedes jugar a hacer overcloking un 5% mas lo soporta perfectamente (casi un xp a 3200)

Pensaba que tenias una asus

lo de actualizar la bios no es imprescindible, yo lo suelo hacer (en mi placa tengo ahora la version f12 , que es la ultima que acaban de sacar) la ultima para tu pb es la version f6

pagina 9 debes colocar el jumper sw1 en la posicion auto (al final de la pagina) lo tendras en on (solo a 200 mhz fsb) y tienes que ponerlo en off

YA Tresnano vengo de reiniciarlo, mire en los manuales de la placa y el el SW esta en ON soportaba hasta 200 mhz creo lo pueso en Auto /+200 :)
Y ya tengo el reloj a 2,167 :) Gracias por todo.

hola, perodnand que me intrometa, pues tengo un amd 2800 y "tocandolo" desde la bios lo tengo ahora mismo a 2.49 gh, bien tengo un sistema de refrigeracion por agua de la marca swiftech,.
este procesador lo compre en julio y desde que lo puse lo toque en la bios a lo maximo que podia ponerlo ( 200 mhz / agressive / 12.5x) y me da los 2.49 ghz, bien dicho esto, desde ese mismo dia la temperatura de la cpu siempre a sido entre 38º y 42º, ahora mismo y desde hace unos dias veo que la temperatura a ido subiendo y ahora mismo esta aentre 49º y 54º, y os queria preguntar si esto es debido a que la cpu esta sufriendo mucho por trabajar a esta configuracion o por lo contrario me esta fallando la bomba de agua del sistema de refrigeracion.
mi placa es una asus a7n8x-x comprada tambien en julio.
despues de este tocho, haver si me podeis decir alguna opinion, pues ya estoy pensando en comprar una bomba nueva por si acaso!!!

hola, solo quiero deciros que e echo una prueba de logica, e restaurado en la bios el sistema y se a puesto todo de origen, ahora esta a 1.66 ghz 12.5x y optimal, y e observado la temperatura la cual solo a bajado 2º.
visto esto creo que el problema es de la bomba, pues ya le cambien el agua hace 3 dias por una nueva, lo observare por si sigue aumentando la pemperatura.
pero creo que me toca comprar una bomba nueva
